About the Campaign
The We Won’t Pay campaign was established in Autumn 2011 in County Donegal as part of a wider and growing opporistion across Ireland to the planned introduction by the Dublin Governement of Septic Tank, Water and Household charges
These taxes are no more than a way to get people to pay for the greed of bankers and property speculators and we refuse to be held to ransom by the IMF and EU.
This is an Independent and grassroots based campaign which is not affiliated to any political party or group. We intend to form groups in as many touwns and villages in the County as possible.
