- Updated: 24th September 2012
Thomas Pringle TD has today congratulated the Donegal team on their all-Ireland victory over Mayo, describing it as a “massive triumph for the team and every man woman and child in Donegal”.
Speaking on the triumph over Mayo yesterday in Croke Park, the Independent TD for Donegal South West stated: “I am ecstatic over our win yesterday and would like to congratulate all the team on their hard work and dedication which paid off in buckets.”
“Being at the game yesterday was an amazing experience and all the fans really showed their support at Croke Park and back in Donegal, where the county has been decorated in gold and green for the last few weeks.
It’s been quite a while since we brought Sam home, but it was worth the wait,” added Pringle.
This is a massive boost for all of us in Donegal, something we will remember for years to come, and I greatly look forward to welcoming Sam home later today,” stated Pringle.
