PRINGLE WELCOMES GROUP B SEWERAGE SCHEME GOING TO TENDER
- Updated: 22nd July 2013
Thomas Pringle TD has welcomed the announcement that the Donegal bay waste water group B is going to tender.
“The Donegal Group B Sewerage Scheme, which consists of Killybegs, Convoy, Glencolmcille and Bundoran, tender documents have been approved and the Minister for Environment Phil Hogan has informed me that Donegal County Council can now proceed to advertise for tenders for the contract.
“Under the contract new wastewater treatment plants and upgrading will be provided in these four locations, which will also create employment in the area.
“This is great news for the areas concerned, something which has been long awaited, and I look forward to when the tender process is complete by the council so that this scheme can begin construction as soon as possible,” stated Pringle.
