Thomas introduces Motion to abolish Direct Provision
- Updated: 30th September 2014
Earlier tonight I introduced a Motion in the Dáil to abolish the Direct Provision system and create an alternative which respects family life and the rights of all human beings. The introduction of a legislative framework for specialised reception centres is an essential step in this and I am calling on all TDs in all parties and groups to accept my Motion. The debate continues tomorrow evening at 7.30pm.
