Opposing Irish Water Amendments in Environment Bill 2014

“Following up from last week’s speech on Civil Debt Bill, I opposed amendments brought by the Government which sought to increase Irish Water’s power to pursue individuals for non-payment.
Typical of the current Government, no time for debate was given to discuss the bill but managed to speak on the amendments I opposed.”
