Ombudsman’s Role Expanded to Include Private Nursing Homes

Thomas speaks on the Dáil motion referring to the Ombudsman’s remit expanding to include private nursing homes. Speaking in support of the Motion Thomas expressed the need to increase and defend home supports so that elderly people can live with dignity within the community and in their home setting when and if they can and if they wish.
